Spoiler: This will not teach you disobeying your boss, this only tell you the truth of what you’re looking for, the truth of human resources in Vietnam.
As long as you are truly a developer, you might forget you also have to code for your life beside your passion.
Many developers in Vietnam think about a good salary, and they reached to a point as 15.000.000 VND per month as about 650 USD as well. They may satisfy or highly proud about themselves on this level, but with me you’re no go with this. There is nothing to tell about it, you’re still as shit.(it doesn’t mean I have more $ than you but it means you’re stuck in a place)
Get it more details, as you have 30 days in a month, you get 500.000 VND a eight-hours working day. Without have meals as breakfast and lunch as all Vietnamese people regularly have everyday, cigarettes and coffee for sometimes, I can count you only have 400.000 VND, so the company paid you 50k(50.000) VND a hour. I supposed whether you’re surprising or not but you don’t know that 50k as 2.5 USD a hour is total shit not even we’re developers.
Well you might not know that lumberjack in Canada has 18.000 USD a year, it’s better than you more than 3 times. In this case I think you’d better find the salary for a developer in Canada as well. Yeah can you imagine that lumberjack is one of the job which Logan had chosen before he joined X-Men Origins: Wolverine =)).

44.000-84.000 USD/year, it doesn’t matter, right? I think we just care about the lumberjack salary. LOL.
So in Vietnam, ?? the civilian and life is not developed as well as Canada, but almost outsourcing companies were working for foreign prices. Turned out where does the money go? To your bosses.
Sum up, you might need to:
+ Train your skill to raise your voice with boss.
+ Go foreign for a better salary.
+ Go startup, get your-own money.
But whatever you gonna play with, if 15.000.000 were just a dream, faraway to reach then I think you’d better go for a try.
